Getting admitted to the hospital:
A patient arriving at the hospital is initially assessed by the on-duty doctor (RMO). After consultation with senior doctor/s, decision is made regarding admitting the patient. The decision to admit the patient may also be made by the doctor after evaluating the patient in the OPD, during consultation.
The relatives of the patient need to fill the admission form and complete the formalities at the admission desk. Here, the patient is expected to provide the necessary documents and a deposit fee required as per hospital rules & regulations. The hospital staff helps & guides the patient & their relatives throughout this process. The patient has the choice to opt for the kind of accommodation facility, which then is kept ready for him/her. The support staff then accompanies the patient to the allotted room/facility, where treatment prescribed by the consultant doctor is commenced.

These rooms have one extra bed for the person staying with the patient. If the patient is admitted in the general ward, the relatives of the patient are expected to make their own arrangements for stay.
The hospital discourages bringing valuables or keeping them with patients or persons accompanying them in the hospital. Valuables, if any, must be returned by the patient to be kept in safe custody of their relatives at home.
